A tractor-trailer carrying 44,000 pounds of hazardous material overturned Wednesday morning in Riverdale, N.J. Some of the chemical spilled onto the roadway and leaked into storm drains, police said. One police officer suffered chemical burns and two others were hurt from inhaling the fumes. The accident has caused major delays on Route 287.
